Grayson

I thought I would Just a quick article about one of my favorite short/fake trailers, Grayson.

I’m always amazed at how many people have not seen it, made in 2004 by John Fiorella this five and a half minute trailer cost about $18,000 to make and has probably the most intense plot that could ever be filmed. So many characters from the d/c universe are featured and it seems as though a lot of inspiration has come from The Killing Joke and The Dark Knight Returns but it also plays a lot of homage to the classic Adam West series as well. When I first saw it I was dead certain it was real because batman begins wasn’t out yet and I knew a new film was being made.

Also make sure you check out the behind the scenes feature that they made, it’s really incredible to see some of the techniques that they used and how well it paid off, there are also some more of their excellent shorts on here as well.
