Worst Taglines of 2009 - January

The worst tagline for a film opening this month goes to My Bloody Valentine: 3D.

Now, depending on what poster you look at this film actually has more than one. The first one I saw wasn't half bad for this sort of film, and to be honest I will probably end up getting a group of friends and making the trip to the city to see this thing. "Nothing says 'Date Movie' like a 3-D ride to Hell" gets right in there and works fine for, like I said, this type of movie.




Their second attempt for the official poster was a bit lack-luster and is why My Bloody Valentine 3D is getting picked as the worst.

"On January 16th, get your heart broken"

Now, this may have worked if the film was coming out on Valentines Day, but the middle of January has nothing to do with your heart being broken, and the only way this film is going to break anyone's heart is when they are sitting in the theater and realize what a POS it is.
