Variety have the news that Samuel .L Jackson has finally come to an agreement with Marvel Studios to play Nick Fury in Iron Man 2, his deal also gives his the option to reprise the character in nine future Marvel pictures. Recently Jackson decided to step down from the role after a dispute with his pay, apparently this was also the case with Sam Rockwell and Micky Rourke who are also being sought after for roles in Iron Man 2. Last year actor Terrance Howard who starred in the first film which grossed $600 million last year was replaced with Don Cheadle. Howard was said to have demanded too much money and too hard to please. The news of Jackson's involvement is good to hear as his small part at the end of the credits was enough to get excited about a sequel.
Iron Man 2 is scheduled for a summer 2010 release but expect to see Jackson in the future Thor movie as well.
