Tom Cruise is maybe one of the most unpopular actors of all time, hes been that way for a while, for me there was one big reason he became so incredibly lame Mission Impossible 2, I saw this in the cinemas in the year 2000, it has been my goal since to never to watch another film featuring him again and I was doing so well until Ben Stiller's Tropic Thunder deceived and tricked me. Well it looks like Cruise and Stiller may be teaming up again, they've both been attached to star in The Hardy Men for quite some time and since then the project has made almost no progress. Today Empire Online got the news that the project, which is meant to show the popular crime fighters The Hardy Boys as estranged adults brought together to solve a new crime now has a writer attached. Ed Solomon, who penned Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure and Bogus Journey, Men In Black, will be writting the film which is to be directed by Shawn Levy. Time will tell if the project actually takes off but right now the combination of Stiller and Cruise is about as appealing being run over, actually worse then that its about as appealing as watching the Mission Impossible Trilogy.
