Just moments after the new season was confirmed an announcement was made that the main cast of Seinfeld (Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis Dreyfuss, Jason Alexander and Michael Richards) would all be together in a new episode of Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm. This marks the first time the actors will be on screen together for eleven years since the Landmark show ended.
The finale episode of Seinfeld was seen by 76 Million people, and the shows still has one of the most loyal fan bases, it is heavily syndicated throughout the world and has strong dvd sales - my point here is there are a lot of people interested in seeing this and I can see the episode getting very high rating even though it is on HBO.
With the exception of Michael Richards, all these people have previously featured on the series, some more than others, Jerry Seinfeld can be seen for about 10 seconds in the finale of Curbs fourth season whilst Alexander and Dreyfuss were integral parts of a few episodes.
Also if waiting till September to watch some new Larry David awkwardness seems to difficult you will be able to se him this summer starring in the new Woody Allen film, Whatever Works.
