The Teaser Trailer for the Superbowl Teaser Trailer of G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra found it's way online today and I have to say it looks pretty awesome, check it out below.

I have to admit the project never interested me in the slightest I have almost no recollection of the toys and it sounds, well stupid complete with the sleek poster art that looks cheesy and lame. I honestly thought this would be the film to end director Stephen Sommers career which has been in a bit of a coma since the Van Helsing incident a few years ago, The Mummy and Mummy Returns were good fun and I wonder if the The Tomb of the Dragon Empire would have been watchable if Sommers had directed it. Anyway back to the point the spot looks like the mindless, stupid explosion film that is needed at least once a year, a definite guilty pleasure of impossible acrobatics (the fool runs on an exploding car whilst its flipping though the air!) and extreme stunts (they're jumping through a bus!) The cast looks pretty strong Dennis Quaid, Rachel Nichols, Ray Park, Joseph Gordon-Levett, Christopher Eccleston, LeeByung-Hun, Sienna Miller and Imhotep himself Arnold Vosloo.
I'm sure there will be a lot more Teasers and Trailers to come leading up to the August 6th release date.

The Full Teaser For G.I. Rise of the Cobra will air during the Superbowl and will most likely be online before the final whistle, hopefully they'll be more crazy action like driving a formula one car off the top of an airplane as it plummets to the sea whilst assassinating an assassin who is trying to shoot the President of the world before he can blow up the moon to save his son from the aliens that abducted him when he was trying to assassinate the leaders of the world who were trying to stop his plans for a nuclear war but before they could he launched a nuclear missile that G.I. Joe gets to run on.
