All The Superbowl Teasers!

Tomorrow Millions of people will be watching one of the biggest sports events of the year, it is also the most expensive time for advertising with last years figures showing a 30 second ad at the cost of $2.7 million, I'm sure with the economic crisis that price has gone down a fair bit, even still there are tons of films showing their teasers hoping to cash in on the huge viewership. Some are new versions of trailers that have been seen times over, others it's the first time we have seen any footage.

First off is G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra, wont go too much into this as I have already covered it here, some incredible stunts, looks like a lot of fun.
have a look:

Next is Disney Pixar's Up nothing new here footage wise, its basically the normal trailer but they took out the section featuring Ratatouie but for some reason left Cars in, there's a bit of new stuff including a joke a bout a gps but for the most part you would be better off seeing the official teaser trailer here. The film looks like a great magical adventure on par with Wall-E and I hope that they will be able to harness the full power of Digital 3-D like Monster House did a few years ago, anyway here is the Superbowl spot.

Next is a first look at The Year One, the new biblical comedy from Harold Ramis which stars Jack Black and Micheal Cera as a pair of lazy hunter-gatherers who go on an epic journey after they are banished from their village. The film also stars Olivia Wilde, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Oliver Platt, Hank Azaria, David Cross and Paul Rudd, not sure how many of these will just be short cameos as Black and Cera go on their journey. It's nice to see Harold Ramis back directing, the film is written by Gene Stupnitski Lee Eisenberg who write The Office. The following clip is pretty long compared to the others, not sure if the whole thing will be used, it's not the funniest clip ever but I'm sure for it to truly work you would need to have a bit of knowledge of the characters before hand and the dead pan office type humor is definitely present.

Another first look next with Land of the Lost from the director of Casper and A Series of Unfortunate Events. The film stars Will Ferrell, Danny Mcbride, Anna Friel and Jorma Taccome, the film is a remake of the television series from 1974 and shows Ferrell and his partners stumbling accross a strange world inhabited by dinosaurs, monkey people and the Sleestack. Looks fun, at one time Robert Rodriguez was in talks of directing and it will be intresting to see if its anygood, Danny Mcbride has been hilarious in almost everything hes been in and hopefully it wont be a watered down role for Will Ferrell.

Next is Fast And Furious I'm not gonna bother going into this, the bit at the end is pretty cool.

The Superbowl spot for JJ. Abrams reboot/redo/ remake ? of Star Trek has some cool new stuff in here that doesn't feature in the theatrical trailer such as a shot of what looks to be the future San Francisco skyline, a new fist fight and a strange kind of future bungie jump. Right now the film looks like a lot of fun and I cant wait to see it it delivers without the presence of William Shatner. check it out below.
"My name is James Tiberius Kirk!"

Another one from Disney with Race to Witch Mountain starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in a remake of the 1975 film Escape from Witch Mountain the spot looks fun for kids a bit of a magical story a funny part with stormtroopers getting in a cab, maybe if The Rock was in Episode one it would have been good.

Lastly is the highly anticipated footage of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen a pretty intense little teaser showing new robots buildings blowing up and constant destruction. Micheal Bay promises far more action than the first, not quite sure how that's possible but on June 26th we shall see. Some cool stuff unfortunately the trailer is not of the highest quality but there is a great version here at Slashfilm they've also got some pretty good analysis on what you are watching.

Some cool stuff here for the big blockbuster films of the year, slightly surprised to see nothing for X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Terminator Salvation but i guess those are already popular enough
