Terminator Salvation News For The Week.

When beginning this blog my aim was to write about any new piece of
Terminator Salvation news the moment i heard about it, this has proved to be difficult due to being lazy and the sheer amount of things being uncovered constantly online. This week alone a ton of news about the film has been present and here it is:

First of all, today a great little sound bite of Christian Bale appeared which features the main star of the film completely freaking out on the Director of Photography for messing up the shot, you can listen to the clip here at SlashFilm. A couple of things make me think this could easy be fake or it might be that I'am just shocked that people actually call the director "Mc'G," it defiantly sounds like Christian Bale as you can hear his accent going crazy when he's loosing control. Unfortunately there is no video footage which is kind of surprising as cameras where rolling when the DP Shane Hurlburt messes the scene, in all credit to Bale you don't F&*K with Batman, it's strange but if this is real then it gives me even more confidence in the film to see Bale taking it that seriously.
What do you think?

Next is the news that the film has taken inspiration from Cloverfield and Watchmen by starting off its viral marketing campaign. At http://www.skynetresearch.com you can sign up for special web updates or it could just be a registration for the future human farms. With the release date of 22nd of May this seems like a bit of a half effort to launch a successful campaign that would have the same effect as Cloverfield but then again maybe this is just the beginning of the 'Uprising.'

Also the good people over at TotalFilm have collected a bunch of new concept art for the film, here's two of the really outstanding ones:

This one looks like a smaller Terminator not really sure why its stabbing the soldier in the mouth, it resembles one of the Sentinels for The Matrix series.

Next is a design of one of those awesome bikes from the trailer, I cant focus enough to count how many guns are on it but it looks pretty ruthless.
The rest of the images can be seen right here. There are some really interesting ones like the assembling factory for the machines, some character shots and an image showing the different stages of the T Series.

and rounding off the news, the new issue of GamePro magazine has the first official image of the T-600 from the film. here it is below:
